Growing up, I was a healthy kid. Then as a young adult, I developed recurring hives and an intolerance to lactose. I was told my only option was to manage these symptoms through pharmaceuticals. I did and I went on with my life.

When I got into my 40s, I became tired of masking my symptoms with pills. I wanted a permanent solution, not a cover up. My challenge was I didn't understand the underlying problem. That all changed when I met Teri Cochrane, an innovative health practitioner who's helped thousands of people like me address complex health concerns with customized nutritional counseling through her Cochrane Method. I followed her guidance and in a matter of a few weeks, my symptoms disappeared. I lost excess weight and gained a renewed sense of energy. It was one of the most empowering moments of my life.
